The Dative Case answers the questions Komu? Czemu? and is used when you are going to speak about indirect objects (recipients). For example in the sentence Adam daje prezent Izie (Adam gives Iza a gift) “Adam” is the subject of the sentence, “prezent” is the direct object and “Iza” is the indirect object. Always use the Dative with the following prepositions and prepositional phrases:
